These terms apply when you book or attend a call or mentoring session with Human Business Mentor. By booking, you agree to them. Please read them before you pay for anything.
1. Who you are dealing with
Human Business Mentor is a business name operated by OC Corporate Holdings Pty Ltd, ABN 19 696 799 694, based in Perth, Western Australia. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Human Business Mentor, and "you" mean the person or business booking the session.
2. What the service is, and what it is not
We provide general business mentoring, workforce guidance, training pathway support and practical business assistance only. Our services do not constitute:
- Legal advice
- Tax or accounting advice
- Financial product advice
- Migration or visa advice
- Engineering advice
- Health advice
- Safety certification
- Industrial relations advice
- Any other regulated professional advice
Where a matter requires regulated professional advice, we will tell you and help identify the appropriate professional or authority to speak with. We do not act as a training provider, employment agency, migration agent, lawyer, accountant or financial adviser, and we do not act as an employee, director or decision-maker in your business.
Decisions about your business remain yours. Mentoring is support for your thinking and your planning — it does not transfer responsibility for the outcome to us.
3. No guaranteed outcome
We do not guarantee any business, employment, enrolment, training or financial outcome. What we can commit to is preparing properly, being straight with you, and delivering the session you booked with due care and skill.
4. Booking and session times
Bookings are made through our scheduling provider. Your booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email from that provider, not when you submit the form.
All session times are set in Australian Western Standard Time (AWST), Perth. If you are booking from another timezone, the booking page will usually show times converted to your local time — please check the time in your confirmation email carefully before the session.
Everyone starts with the free Start Here Call. Paid sessions are arranged after that call, once we have both agreed the service is a fit for what you need.
5. Cancellations, rescheduling and no-shows
- You may reschedule at no charge with at least 48 hours' notice before the session start time.
- If you reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, or do not attend, the session is treated as used.
- If we need to reschedule a session, we will offer you an alternative time at no additional charge.
If something serious has happened and you have missed a session because of it, contact us. We are not obliged to make an exception, but we would rather hear from you than not.
6. Fees and payment
All prices are in Australian dollars. Payment is processed by our payment provider, not by us directly — we do not see or store your full card details.
Start Here Call — no charge
The Start Here Call is free. No payment details are required to book it.
The Practical Step ($95) and One Session ($195)
Paid in full at the time of booking. The session is confirmed once payment is received.
Business Reset — $525, or three payments of $175
Business Reset covers up to three sessions. You may either:
- pay $525 upfront for all three sessions; or
- pay $175 per session, with each payment made before the session it relates to.
Alongside You — $450 per month
- $450 per month, paid in advance.
- Three mentoring sessions are included each month.
- Sessions do not roll over. Any session not used within the month is not carried into the following month and is not refunded.
- The arrangement is month to month. You may cancel at any time before your next billing date.
- If you cancel, sessions you have already paid for in the current period remain available to you until that period ends.
7. Paying by instalments
Where you are paying per session rather than upfront, the following applies:
- Payment is required before each session. If a payment has not been made, the next session is paused until it is.
- A missed or unpaid instalment does not remove your obligation to pay for sessions we have already delivered.
- We charge no interest, and no late fees.
- We may decline to offer an instalment arrangement, or stop an existing one, where payments are missed.
An instalment arrangement is a convenience, not a credit product. If paying for a session would put you under real financial pressure, please do not book it — say so on the free call instead, and we will point you to the no-cost options that exist.
8. Refunds and your consumer guarantees
We do not give refunds for change of mind. This is standard for services and is permitted under the Australian Consumer Law.
Separately from that, you have consumer guarantees that we cannot exclude. If a service is not delivered with due care and skill, is not fit for the purpose we agreed, or fails to meet a consumer guarantee in some other way, you are entitled to a remedy. For a major failure, you may choose a refund or to have the service supplied again. For a failure that is not major, we may choose to resupply the service or refund it.
If you think something has gone wrong, email us first at hello@humanbusinessmentor.au and tell us plainly what happened. We would rather resolve it directly.
9. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about your situation. Guidance based on an incomplete picture is worth less to you.
- Where appropriate, seek advice from a suitably qualified professional regarding matters outside the scope of our services.
- Make your own decisions about your business, and satisfy yourself about anything before you act on it.
- Treat any non-public material we share with you as confidential.
10. Confidentiality
How we treat what you share, and what you agree to treat as confidential, is set out in full in our Confidentiality Acknowledgement. It forms part of these terms.
11. Privacy
What personal information we collect, why, where it is processed, and how to ask for access, correction or deletion is set out in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your session is the version published on this page at the time you booked it. If we make a change that materially affects a session you have already paid for, we will tell you.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
14. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where any part of these terms conflicts with such a right, that law applies.
